Gallant Cadres of NDC 0505446753, 0241906363
To all Media Houses
If Fomena MP Is A Potent Man Enough, Let Him Claim To Be NPP.
The NPP is claiming to have majority in Parliament , yet they couldn’t elect a speaker. This explain why Fomena MP’s open declaration to work with the NPP means nothing. And Gallant Cadres of NDC think the noise following that open declaration by some Ghanaian media houses must stop.
Under the laws the Fomena MP cannot sit with Npp, but he can do business with the npp because Mr Asiamah sits as an independent candidate and independent MP. After all Nana Akufo Addo some time ago that he cannot work with an independent MP in Parliament. Declaring to be npp means there will be by election. He is and remains an independent MP for the next four years until he decides the constituency be declared vacate. Gallant Cadres of NDC assure all surrogates of npp Don’t worry, the NPP people who voted against Mike Oquaye and Nana Addo are still in parliament. Just insist that all votings should be by secret ballots, you could have understood the content and felt disgraced to share as the guy is only telling the NPP and Nana Addo that he is and remains an independent mp but will play along with the NPP who by all means wants to be seen as majority. The pressing issues at hand has to do with Majority and Minority.
Who is the whip of hon. Asiamah ?
The declaration letter by Mr Asiamah is of no monument. It does not solve the problem of deficiency in Npp’s MPs. The slightest advantage is his vote for npp on decisions. However in contentious decision, Gallant Cadres of NDC believes that Rt Hon Bagbin can absent himself and put Joe Wise in the Speaker’s seat. The moment Joe Wise takes the seat, he loses his right to vote and NPP cannot still get majority. The decision to do business with the NPP caucus in Parliament does not change his independent status neither does it add to npp numbers. NPP must really be very worried!
Further, the moment he declares his intention to be NPP, he loses his 2nd deputy speakership position and his seat must also be declared vacant and a by-election kicks in.
