Veteran Ghanaian actor, Kofi Laing, known best as Kohwe has died after years of suffering stroke.
His daughter, Comfort Laing, confirmed the sad incident and indicated her father died at his residence Accra on Thursday night 16 September, 2021.
The 75-year-old died this evening.
He was reported to be suffering from stroke some weeks ago and receiving treatment from a health facility.
Two years ago, Kohwe spoke about his financial challenges; after which a former Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Barbara Oteng Gyasi, and a group called Cape Coast Oguaa, and other people, donated monies and items to him.
The versatile actor is known for his good performance in Akan drama series and popular ‘District Colonial Court’.
