BAD OFFICIATING IS THE “DEVIL” IN ZONAL1 2ND DIVISION LEAGUE IN GHANA- Nene Tetteh Rahman
Nene Tetteh Rahman, the son of a fisherman and fisherman by extension cum practice writes;
“If we want Ghana football to go to the length we want as a country, I will plead with Ghana Football Association to have a special look or take a second look at the 2nd Divisions in the Greater Accra region ( Garfa) especially, on the score of officiating. What I have witnessed last season in a match between Okor nowomi FC and Tama wonders at Akplabanya and what I am watching this season, the states can appoint all the best coaches in the world to help the national teams but I am afraid, it will amount to nothing.
The GFA must take special dedicated interest in the zonal1 2nd division. Just last week we all saw a referee coaching a team on the feed of play, in a match between Okor nowomi FC and Ada City at Akplabanya and yesterday in Ashiaman, one of bad officiating of the decade occurred,in a match between Revelation FC and Okor nowomi FC.
Who ever is in charge of appoiting referees for the zonal1 2nd Division matches must up his game. I don’t want to believe the match commissioners report are telling you the actuals on the ground!
If we want Ghana football to go far, The GFA,RFA, must watch this referees and match commissioners especially those Ada ones”.
This complain came up after a match between Revelation and Okor nowomi FC on Thursday, 10th February, 2022 at Sakasaka park in Ashaiman.
Nene Tetteh Rahman is an ardent follower of coast football, especially Third and Second Division side in Ada.
