E-Levy:Who Are You To Decide Not To Pay The E-Levy-Nana Addo Angrily React To Critics About E-Levy-WATCH VIDEO.

Today on Angel FM’s “Sunday Boboobo show” The current President of the Republic of Ghana has angrily reacted to the critics of the Electronic Transaction Levy (E-levy). Since the introduction of the E-levy by the Minister Of finance, Hon. Ken Ofori-Atta during the reading of the 2022 budget statement, there has been many critics about the E-levy, because most Ghanaians think that, it may bring hardship on Ghanaians.

According to Nana Addo, no one can decide not to pay the e-levy when it’s eventually accepted and passed by the parliament. The president added that, it’s the parliament that can reject or approve the levy, so if it’s accept by the parliament then one can omit from paying the E-levy.

Nana Addo angrily said this after consistently being asked by Papa Shamo that, what he will do if Ghanaians decide not to pay the E-levy based on the critics.

“Who are you to decide not to pay the E-levy? The arrangement is in parliament, you voted for your representatives in the Parliament House, so they approve it, then it means the whole Country approve it. So no one can decide to pay or not to pay because it will become mandatory” Nana Addo angrily reacted.
