In a groundbreaking move to strengthen political participation and support women leaders, Joana Gyan Cudjoe, the NDC Parliamentary candidate for Amenfi Central and Western Regional patron of the Women Working Committee, has made a remarkable contribution of GHC340,000. This substantial investment, comprising GHC20,000 for each of the 17 Constituency Women Organizers, underscores her unwavering commitment to women’s empowerment ahead of the December 7, 2024 elections.

Recognizing the pivotal role women play in driving the party’s mission, Joana also allocated GHC100,000 to the Regional Women’s Organizer and GHC30,000 to each of her two deputies, bringing her total support to GHC500,000. This initiative is designed to mobilize and energize women within the party, ensuring their voices and contributions are front and center.

During the presentation to Madam Gladys Egyir, the Western Regional Women’s Organizer, and Ms. Mirian Plange-Kwofie, the Deputy Regional Treasurer, Joana emphasized the power of unity. She called on party members to transcend differences and rally together for a shared vision of victory, advocating for the John Dramani Mahama and Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman ticket, along with all 17 NDC Parliamentary candidates in the Western Region.

This generous donation not only highlights Joana Gyan Cudjoe’s dedication to empowering women in politics but also sets a transformative precedent for the NDC’s success in the upcoming elections.
