Authenticity Is Our Hallmark

The Ghana Union Movement’s (GUM) Parliamentary candidate for Twifo Atti-morkwa constituency in the central region Mr. Alex Obodai Tetteh well known as Dr. Bisa Nyame has rejected the constituency Parliamentary Debate Organized by the National Commission for Civic Education in the district.

The debate which is organized by the NCCE is scheduled on 24th November 2020 @3:00pm and expected to be attended by the three Parliamentary candidates in the constituency, they are Mr. EBENEZER OBENG DWAMENA for NPP, Mr. Chief David Vondee for the NDC and Mr. Alex Obodai Tetteh for GUM, to share their ideas and visions to their constituents to make informed choice, but Mr Alex Obodai Tetteh has vowed to boycott it.

In an interview with the media, Mr Obodai hinted that, he will not attend the debate because he (Mr Obodai) can not have a debate with someone who can not talk for himself i.e. “Mr EBENEZER OBENG DWAMENA” He said, Hon Kennedy Agyapong came all the way from Assin central to campaigned for the NPP candidate Mr EBENEZER OBENG DWAMENA meaning Mr DWAMENA don’t know how to talk that is why he invited Hon Kennedy to come and talk for him.

Hence, in other for him (Mr Obodai) to participate in the debate, he is expecting Hon Kennedy to come and represent the NPP instead of Mr. DWAMENA.

secondly, Mr Obodai said, when Hon Kennedy came to Twifo Atti-morkwa constituency to assist his colleague Mr DWAMENA, He[Ken Agyapong] made an allegation that Mr Vondee who stands on the ticket of the NDC is a Fraudsters hence the constituents should not vote for him (Vondee).

“If Mr DWAMENA can not talk unless he hires someone to come and talk to his own constituents on his behalf and Vondee is also a Fraudsters, then why should I waist my precious time to participate I will not come” Mr Obodai.
