Dear Colleague,

The All-Africa Students Union is happy to let you know that we are coming together with our fellow student leaders across the world, including European Students’ Union (ESU), Continental Latin American and Caribbean Student Organization (OCLAE) as part of the global efforts to enhance academic and student mobility through the Global Convention on the Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications (GCRHQ) to put together a Report on the Convention and what impact it will have on education, student and academic mobility, and other sectors such as intercultural exchanges.

The report will also provide an opportunity to highlight the students’ perspective on issues linked to the GCRHQ through gathering primary data from national unions of students from across the globe, with the overarching aim of collectively lobbying governments to ratify the convention through the “Student-led Global Ratification Campaign”.

The Global Convention is a novelty that opens for inter-regional academic mobility and puts into place universal principles for improving recognition practices. You can read more about the convention here:

We are asking organisation’s and students like you to share your thoughts with us by completing this questionnaire: https://form.jotform.com/203092447271048

We are grateful for your support and look forward to hearing from you soon. You can reach out to us for further information via email: adonteng@aasuonline.org
