
The sad news convened has it that a church building has collapsed on members, thereby leaving them battling for their lives.
In line with that, details have emerged concerning the tragic incident which has become the subject of discussion.
Some eyewitnesses shared vital information regarding the affected building that houses Salvation Ministry during a visit to the accident scene by Arise News.
You may have heard that a church building recently collapsed in Okpanam, Delta State. At least 18 victims of the accident have reportedly been hospitalized, while three of those hospitalized are in critical conditions.
Reporting from the accident scene, Arise News Correspondent, Jemima Bolokor, said, “Eyewitnesses say the collapse happened around 5 pm. However, they added that the Salvation Ministry are tenants in the building, and their landlord had instructed them to evacuate the building months ago.
The Church ministry reportedly refused to park out of the building before the unfortunate incident happened. The affected story building was getting renovated underneath when the Church members went upstairs. The collapse happened during Church service, and many people got injured.”
