JUST IN:1st Deputy Speaker Nearly Cries After Having An Encounter With A Boy-WATCH VIDEO.
It will surprise many Ghanaians when some NPP MPs retain their seats with a landslide in the 2024 parliamentary elections even after supporting the imposition of the e-levy amongst others. It is true that such MPs usually contest in the NPP strongholds but one contributory factor which many Ghanaians have not considered is the ‘behind the scenes” roles they play.
This assertion can be backed by a video circulating on social media that captured the First Deputy Speaker, Joseph Osei Owusu, who is a member of Parliament for the Bekwai constituency, doing the unexpected. In the video, Joe Wise, as he is popularly known, clutched a young boy, who appeared to be deformed, and stated boldly that he will act as a nephew to the boy.
From now onwards, you people should see me as the uncle of this boy. I promise to take very good care of him. I want to leave you people with all that he wants. I am a very busy man but I charge you to look for a school and put him in it for me. I will pay for everything.”, he told the family of the boy.
The boy in question fell prostrate to thank the Honorable MP. Later, Joe Wise could not control himself as he was spotted nearly sobbing and crying.
