An outspoken member of the National Democratic Congress and special aide to the Former President, Felix Kwakye Ofosu has lambasted and sent a strong message to the NPP government led by His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo. His message is in relation to the President’s desire of building a National cathedral which has sparked a lot of stir, debates and argument among Ghanaians across all social media platforms. He said;
“It was a great sign of disrespect and disregard for the people of Ghana that President Akufo-Addo labelled the National Cathedral a “priority among priorities”.
In continuation, Felix emphatically said there is absolutely no justification for that kind of prioritization given our current state. According to him, that building cannot be a priority of any sort and not even the most fundamentalist Christian can defend this.
