The member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency, Honorable Okudzeto Ablakwa has dropped some revelation that may seem interesting to many.
In his recent Facebook post, Okudzeto Ablakwa slammed the Methodist Bishop who criticised John Mahama’s plan to repeal the E-levy.
According to Okudzeto Ablakwa, all the Southern running mates of the NDC have all come from the Methodist Church of Ghana. He dropped names such as Kow Nkensen Arkaah, John Evans Atta Mills, Paa Kwesi Amissah Arthur and Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang as being members of the Methodist Church.
“Not even the NDC tradition is entitled to engage in such utter blasphemy despite selecting all our southern Running Mates from the Methodist congregation since 1992: Kow Nkensen Arkaah (1992 Elections); John Evans Atta Mills (1996 Elections/before becoming Flagbearer in 2000 and winning the 2008 Elections as President); Paa Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur (2012 and 2016 Elections); Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang (2020 Elections)”.
Okudzeto Ablakwa also commended the Methodist church for distancing themselves from the comment made by Bishop Bosomtwi Ayensu.
