
A Senior Law Lecturer and Director of the University of Education, Winneba for Basic Schools, Alhassan Salifu Bawah has disputed allegations made by some members of the public against the University of Education, Winneba (UEW) relating to the institution’s corporate social responsibility.
According to the senior lecturer, he finds it’s disheartening how certain individuals for reasons best known to themselves, will fail to inquire the facts but rather use various means to share information they have less or no knowledge about.
He told Nyce FM’s Oti-Faaben Kakra on Pae Mu Ka that the University community is contributing everything within it’s means to make sure that the spread of COVID-19 is minimized.
The MP for the area made certain allegations on-Air that this university(UEW) is not actually doing anything to help the community. And for the benefit of the doubt, the university hospital has been made available to the general public. Again, we have released a pick-up to be used for the purpose of transporting samples from here[Winneba] to Nuguchi Memorial Research Center.
He concluded by spelling out measures adopted by UEW to protect student and staff as they come back to school and also sounded few words of advice to them as a mean of.
