UEW SRC Donates Items To Victims Of The Asuboi Accident.

UEW SRC DONATES ITEMS TO VICTIMS OF THE ASUBOI ACCIDENT

The UEW SRC led by His Excellency Felix Oyaade3yie Donkor today delivered certain items to the victims who survived the Asuboi accident.

The SRC which seeks to promote the welfare and interest of the student body have already activated measures for the upkeep of the victims of the accident. These measures included catering for their medical bills, providing counseling to victims, provision of meals to all victims for some days at the food processing unit among others.

Today’s twist saw, each of the victims receiving 10 Kilograms of Rice,1 create of Egg, 500 grams of Sugar, 2 tins of Milo, 5 tins of Milk and 1 litter of Oil.

The SRC has further engaged management to cater for the lost items of these students. Further engagement has been advanced to USAG and NUGS to also make arrangements for the victims of the accident. The SRC remains optimistic that our engagements with the above mentioned stakeholders will yield a desired response.

It still remains the core mandate of the UEW SRC to put students’ interest and needs first and work to eliminate individual’s parochial interest to help put the UEW SRC on a pedestal of honour and reverence. We are still committed to changing the phase of the UEW SRC by #ShowingWorking
