Hearts of Oak midfielder, Umar Manaf, has landed himself in trouble
for giving out his phone number on twitter in the hope of being sent
money from Ghanaian celebrity, Efia Odo, real name Andrea Owusu..
The screen goddess sent out a tweet asking her followers to give out
their phone numbers so she could send 10 people “feeding money”.
As the tweet is flooded with responses, a twitter account in the name
of the player (@manaf_gumah), tweeted out the phone number of the
player, sparking fury, and mockery in equal measure among the Phobian
supporters.
Hearts of Oak have since moved to deny that the tweet came from the
player, claiming his account was hacked and called it “fake news”.
Fake news!
Manaf Umar never made money request. Our midfielder never requested for money from Ghanaian actress Efia Odo. His Twitter account was hacked in making this request. Please disregard the report.🔴💛🔵#AHOSC
