The spokesperson for Dr. Bryan Acheampong’s 2026 campaign, Pius Enam Hadzide, has stated that one of the key strengths of their campaign lies in the clarity and impact of its message, which continues to resonate strongly with members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) across the country.
Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen, Mr. Hadzide explained that their strategy focuses on highlighting Dr. Acheampong’s longstanding dedication, loyalty, and tangible contributions to the NPP throughout its development.
“Our message is working for us,” he said. “We are focusing on what he has done to support the party over the years. He has served diligently, and at one point, between 2009 and 2017, he personally paid the salaries of party workers at the headquarters and settled utility bills from his own resources.”
Mr. Hadzide further noted that Dr. Acheampong’s commitment to the NPP has been both financial and strategic, citing his key role in strengthening the party’s electoral performance in the Eastern Region.
“In the 2016 elections, even President Akufo-Addo publicly commended Bryan for his immense contributions. During the last election, he advised Dr. Bawumia to allow him to manage campaign funds in the Eastern Region, and the results spoke for themselves, the region became one of our strongest performing areas,” he recounted.
He added that Dr. Acheampong’s hands-on leadership, prudent management of campaign resources, and deep connection with grassroots members make him the most suitable candidate to lead the NPP into the next general elections.
“He knows how to mobilise resources and ensure that every polling station feels included in the campaign. That is why we believe he is the best person to lead the NPP to victory,” Mr. Hadzide emphasized.
