NPP flagbearer hopeful, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, has expressed deep sorrow over the tragic stampede at the Ghana Armed Forces recruitment exercise at El-Wak Sports Stadium in Accra, which claimed six lives and injured several others.
In a Facebook statement, Dr. Adutwum extended condolences to the bereaved families and wished the injured a swift recovery. “I am deeply saddened by this heartbreaking incident. My thoughts are with the families of those who lost their lives and with all those receiving treatment at the 37 Military Hospital,” he wrote.
He also called for unity during this period of national grief, praying for comfort and strength for the affected families and the nation.
