Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has praised Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for his leadership qualities, experience, and wisdom, stating that he is well-positioned to lead the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to victory in the 2028 elections.
Speaking on Oyerepa Radio, Dr. Prempeh said that party members continue to learn from Dr. Bawumia’s experience and example.
“Dr. Bawumia has served diligently over the years and has demonstrated the wisdom and experience needed to lead the NPP to victory in 2028. We are all learning from him,” he said.
He emphasized that Dr. Bawumia possesses the qualities of a strong and respected leader, making him the most suitable candidate for the running mate position.
“Dr. Bawumia has the qualities of a good leader. As a result, we cannot give this position to anyone who has recently joined the party,” Dr. Prempeh stated.
He further highlighted that leadership requires wisdom, public speaking skills, decency, and the ability to command respect, traits that Dr. Bawumia embodies.
“As a leader, one must be wise, know how to address the public, act with decency, and command respect. All these characteristics are found in Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia,” he added.
