A lecturer at the University of Education, Winneba, Dr. Oduro Arhin, has appealed to the British High Commission in Ghana to support Ghanaian fans with visas to enable them travel to London for Sarkodie’s upcoming Rapperholic concert at the The O2 Arena.

Speaking on Asempa FM, Dr. Arhin expressed optimism that the Ghanaian rapper would be able to fill the iconic venue when he hosts the event on March 6, 2027.

“We respectfully appeal to the UK ambassador to Ghana to kindly grant us visas so that we can travel to London to celebrate Sarkodie’s Rapperholic at the O2 Arena on March 6, 2027,” he said.

According to him, the O2 Arena has a capacity of about 20,000 people, and he believes Sarkodie has the influence and fan base to fill the venue and even exceed expectations.

“He has booked O2 for March 6, 2027, O2 is 20,000 capacity and he has one year to do to fill the place. He will be able to do it and even surpass it.,” he stated.

Dr. Arhin further encouraged Ghanaians who wish to attend the event to begin preparations early by securing their travel documents.

“We should all get our passport ready to travel to the UK; we are all travelling there,” he added.

He also assured UK authorities that Ghanaian fans traveling for the concert would contribute positively to the British economy through tourism and taxes.

“We are going to improve their tourism, we will pay all the required taxes so they should just give us the visa to go and we will come back,” he said.
