In a statement signed by the Press Secretary to the Minister for Education, Mr. Hashmin Mohammed, the Ministry congratulated the new students and described their admission as “a major step toward realizing their dreams and contributing to Ghana’s future.”
The statement urged the freshers to approach this phase with dedication, discipline, and enthusiasm, emphasizing that the Ministry remains committed to providing a safe and supportive learning environment for all.
“The Ministry of Education congratulates all first-year students who have successfully gained admission to various Senior High Schools across the country. This milestone marks a significant point in your academic journey, and we encourage you to embrace it with focus, discipline, and a spirit of excellence,” the statement read.

It encouraged parents to visit the assigned schools to complete all enrolment procedures and assist their wards in settling into academic life smoothly.
Reaffirming its dedication to equitable and inclusive education, the Ministry assured the public that all necessary measures have been put in place to ensure a smooth start to the new academic year across all regions.
