The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has announced the commencement of its 2025 enlistment and recruitment exercise, which will be held simultaneously across all 16 regional capitals.
In a press release issued on Monday, September 29, GAF explained that the decentralised approach is designed to provide equal opportunity for eligible applicants nationwide, regardless of their location.
Details of the recruitment process, the statement noted, will be communicated strictly through official GAF platforms, including its verified websites, as well as state-owned newspapers such as the Daily Graphic and Ghanaian Times.
The Armed Forces also cautioned the public against falling victim to fraudulent adverts and fake recruitment links circulating on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp.
“The general public is kindly informed that any purported recruitment links on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp or any other social media platforms inviting people for protocol recruitment is a scam and should be ignored,” the statement warned.
GAF further stressed that no enlistment invitation will come from any individual claiming affiliation with the Armed Forces or its High Command.
The statement concluded with a call for public cooperation to safeguard the integrity of the recruitment process, urging applicants to remain vigilant and rely solely on official channels for accurate information.
