The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the opening of an online posting window for staff returning from study leave with pay, as part of efforts to streamline the reintegration of qualified teachers into the education system.
In a formal notice issued from the GES Headquarters in Accra on November 4, 2025, the Service directed all regional directors of education and eligible staff to complete online posting forms within a limited three-day period.
According to the notice, the filing window opens on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, and closes on Friday, November 7, 2025. Applicants are to access the online posting forms via the provided link: http://bit.ly/STUDYLEAVERETURN2025.
The directive targets teachers who have completed their study leave with pay and are due to resume active duty. The GES emphasized that applicants must provide accurate and verifiable information to ensure a smooth placement process.
The notice, signed by Ms. Angela Frimpomaa Nkansah, Director of Human Resource Management and Development (HRMD), on behalf of the Acting Director-General, was copied to the GES Council and other senior management officials, including the Acting Deputy Director-General for Quality and Access.
Officials say the initiative forms part of efforts to improve efficiency, transparency, and fairness in teacher postings through digital processes. The online system is expected to reduce administrative delays and align postings with the staffing needs of various districts.
Eligible teachers have been urged to take note of the short application window and monitor official GES communication channels for further updates or clarifications.
