The Ghana Education Service (GES) has released the much-awaited 2025 Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) results, giving thousands of Junior High School graduates their placements into various Senior High and Technical Schools.
In a statement signed by the Acting Deputy Director-General (Q & A), Dr. Munawaru Issahaque, the Service directed Regional Directors of Education to inform District Directors and Heads of Schools about the official release.
GES stressed that schools must admit students strictly based on the CSSPS placement list, which is generated by the Secretariat. Any attempt to admit students outside the official system without prior written approval from GES is strictly forbidden.
Students who have been placed are expected to report to their respective schools on October 18, 2025, to begin registration and prepare for the new academic year. Heads of schools have been urged to ensure smooth registration processes, following the guidelines provided by GES.
The statement also came with a strong warning: any head of school or official caught engaging in unauthorised admissions will face serious administrative sanctions. Regional and District Directors have been tasked to strictly monitor schools to ensure compliance.
GES further appealed to parents, students, and the general public to ignore middlemen and fraudsters who may attempt to sell fake placements. It assured that the placement process is transparent, and the only valid placements are those generated by the CSSPS system.
The Education Service emphasised that the cooperation of all stakeholders, school heads, parents, students, and education officers, will be key in ensuring a fair and successful admission process for the 2025 academic year.
