The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has announced a one-week extension of its ongoing recruitment exercise, citing technical challenges encountered on the online recruitment portal.

In a statement signed by Colonel Evelyn Ntiamoah Asamoah, Acting Director General of Public Relations, the GAF said the new deadline for applications is November 7, 2025.

“The Ghana Armed Forces has extended the deadline for the ongoing recruitment exercise by one week due to some technical challenges encountered on the recruitment portal during the initial period,” the statement read.

The Armed Forces expressed regret for any inconvenience caused to the public and urged applicants to take advantage of the extension to complete their submissions.

“The Armed Forces regrets any inconvenience caused and counts on the cooperation of the general public,” the release added.

The announcement, issued from the GAF General Headquarters at Burma Camp, Accra, also advised the media to help publicize the new development to ensure that all interested applicants are well informed.

The extension comes as part of efforts by the military to ensure a smooth and transparent recruitment process amid increased interest from Ghanaian youth seeking to join the Armed Forces.
