GoldBod Jewellery, a subsidiary of the Ghana Gold Board, has rolled out a new e-commerce platform as part of a strategic effort to position its gold products as lucrative investment opportunities for Ghanaians and international buyers.

At the Accra launch, Managing Director Gertrude Emefa Donkor described the platform as Ghana’s first “24-hour digital gold showroom,” allowing customers to browse jewellery, track real-time prices, make purchases online, and arrange showroom pickups across the country.

Ms. Donkor emphasized that GoldBod is dedicated to transforming Ghana’s raw gold into premium, finished products, boosting local value addition and helping retain foreign exchange within the country.

She highlighted the company’s flagship investment product, the GoldBod Jewellery Tablet, offered in 1g, 5g, 10g, and 1oz sizes. The 24-karat gold tablets are designed to provide Ghanaians with a simple and secure way to build long-term wealth.

Beyond investment, the company celebrates craftsmanship, with all jewellery pieces handcrafted by skilled Ghanaian artisans, showcasing the nation’s creativity and heritage.

Looking ahead, GoldBod plans to expand operations, form strategic partnerships, and open flagship stores in Ghana and abroad, aiming to establish itself as Africa’s leading brand in jewellery and investment gold.
