Minister for Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, has highlighted a series of important national events scheduled for the coming week, describing the period as pivotal for governance and policy implementation.
The week begins on Monday with the presentation of the investigative report on the August 6 helicopter tragedy to the National Security Council. The findings and recommendations will be shared with the public during a media briefing on Tuesday, providing Ghanaians with a detailed account of the incident.
On Wednesday, former President John Dramani Mahama is expected to launch the “Nkoko Nkitinkiti” initiative in Kumasi, a programme aimed at promoting community development and youth empowerment.
The week concludes on Thursday with the Finance Minister presenting the 2026 Budget Statement and Economic Policy in Parliament. Speaking on the upcoming presentation, Mr. Kwakye Ofosu said the budget “brims with far-reaching policy initiatives” designed to address key national priorities and stimulate economic growth.
He emphasized that the series of events reflects the government’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and reforms that engage citizens while advancing national development.
