The development train of Amenfi Central made another impactful stop on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, as Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, the dynamic Member of Parliament for the constituency, led a powerful delegation of engineers, land surveyors, and contractors to Wassa Sraha/Ayiem.

The visit, part of her ongoing constituency-wide tour, marked a new phase in her mission to deliver equitable development across all communities. Working hand in hand with the Chiefs and Elders, Hon. Joana and her team surveyed a vast parcel of land donated by the traditional authorities for the construction of a state-of-the-art hospital and a multipurpose community centre.

The proposed projects are set to transform the area into a thriving hub of social and health advancement, offering residents quality medical services and a modern space for community activities.

Hon. Joana’s team also inspected the abandoned CHPS Compound in Sraha/Ayiem, a facility that has remained idle for years. The MP assured residents that steps would be taken to revive, equip, and operationalize the centre, ensuring that no community in Amenfi Central is left behind in the drive for accessible healthcare.

Speaking after the tour, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe said the visit was not just a routine inspection, but a demonstration of action-driven leadership focused on real results.

“We are not waiting for development to come to us, we are creating it ourselves,” she remarked. “This hospital and community centre will stand as symbols of progress, unity, and care for the people of Amenfi Central.”

Her words drew applause from local residents and traditional leaders, who praised her forward-thinking approach and visible dedication to transforming the constituency.

From health infrastructure to education and road rehabilitation, Hon. Joana’s leadership continues to weave a network of progress across Amenfi Central, one project at a time. Her tour at Wassa Sraha/Ayiem adds another chapter to her growing story of purposeful leadership and people-centred governance.
