The visionary and development-driven Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, on the second day of her constituency-wide working tour, reaffirmed her unwavering commitment to inclusive development and improved service delivery.
Accompanied by a high-powered delegation comprising building contractors, engineers, land surveyors, architects, and road contractors, as well as the District Chief Executive, and NDC constituency and branch executives, the MP spent the day inspecting and surveying key project sites across several communities.
The day began at Hiawa, where Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe and her team inspected land allocated for the construction of a new CHPS Compound. Once completed, this facility will significantly improve access to primary healthcare for residents in Hiawa and neighbouring communities.
The next stop was Adidaase, where the team surveyed another site designated for a second CHPS Compound, underscoring the MP’s determination to ensure that no community in Amenfi Central is left behind in accessing basic health services.
From Adidaase, the delegation moved to Kramokrom, where land has been secured for the construction of a new six-unit classroom block. The project is expected to enhance teaching and learning conditions, offering renewed hope for pupils, parents, and teachers in the area.
At Bantoma, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe inspected the site for a three-unit classroom block, part of her broader educational infrastructure improvement agenda aimed at advancing quality education across the constituency.
The team then proceeded to Achichire, where land has been earmarked for the construction of a new police station. This initiative seeks to strengthen security, maintain peace, and safeguard lives and property within Achichire and its surrounding communities.
The day’s tour concluded at Manso Amenfi, where the MP and her technical team inspected the site for a new Maternity Ward with a Theatre, a project designed to enhance maternal healthcare delivery and reduce maternal mortality in the district.
In her closing remarks, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe expressed deep appreciation to the chiefs, elders, and residents of the various communities for their warm welcome and cooperation. She assured them of her continued dedication to ensuring that all the inspected projects would commence soon, noting that sod-cutting ceremonies are scheduled for the coming weeks.
“Each of these projects, from healthcare and education to security and infrastructure, forms part of my broader development vision to transform Amenfi Central into a model constituency of progress and opportunity,” she stated.
Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe’s ongoing working visit continues to inspire optimism across the district, as residents witness her hands-on approach to leadership and her clear commitment to building a better, more equitable Amenfi Central.
