On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, the visionary Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, once again demonstrated her deep commitment to the welfare of her people as she led a team of the Wassa Ankwaso NDC Branch Executives on a working visit to inspect the long-abandoned CHIP Compound in Wassa Ankwaso.

The once-promising project, which had been left unattended for years, has been a major concern for residents who have had to travel long distances to access basic healthcare services. Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe’s visit rekindled hope among community members, as she pledged to ensure the full completion of the facility within the next six months.

Addressing the gathering, Hon. Joana reaffirmed that healthcare delivery stands at the heart of her development agenda for Amenfi Central. She stressed that no community should be deprived of essential medical care due to stalled projects or administrative neglect. According to her, completing the Wassa Ankwaso CHIP Compound will not only bring health services closer to the people but also create a safer and more dignified environment for healthcare delivery.

“We cannot talk about development without prioritizing health. Every mother, child, and elder deserves access to quality healthcare right here in their community,” she stated passionately. “That is why I am committed to ensuring this facility is completed and functional within the shortest possible time.”

The MP’s words were met with applause and renewed optimism from residents and community leaders, who praised her hands-on leadership and consistent presence in the constituency. They described her visit as a reflection of genuine service, one rooted in action rather than promises.

Under her leadership, Amenfi Central continues to witness a series of infrastructural interventions spanning education, health, roads, and local commerce, all aimed at building a stronger, healthier, and more prosperous constituency.
