Dr. Ishag, has dismissed prophecies suggesting that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia will not become president, insisting that the former Vice President is destined to win the 2028 general election.

Speaking on the matter, Dr. Ishag urged the public to disregard claims by seers and prophets predicting otherwise, stressing that divine purpose cannot be overturned by human pronouncements.

“God is greater than everyone,” he said. “I have received a lot of attacks in this life, but they did not get me. Attacks will come, but they will not prevail. That is why it is important to rely on God.”

Reacting specifically to a prophecy claiming that Dr. Bawumia was not seen on the ballot spiritually, Dr. Ishag rejected the assertion outright, describing it as a misinterpretation.

“The prophet who said he did not see Dr. Bawumia on the ballot spiritually did not see well,” he stated. “Dr. Bawumia will be on the ballot physically, and he is already on the ballot.”

Dr. Ishag went further to defend Dr. Bawumia against claims questioning his future and wellbeing, insisting that such statements should not be entertained.

“I am saying emphatically that Dr. Bawumia will not die, and I can challenge anyone on that. He is the next president of Ghana,” he declared.
