Isaac Nelson Honoured as Eminent Male Radio Personality of the Year

Ghanaian radio producer and co-host Isaac Nelson has been crowned the Eminent Male Radio Personality of the Year at the 2025 Eminent Awards, held at the GNAT Hall in Accra.

The prestigious event, organised by Chilky Media, celebrated outstanding professionals who have made significant contributions to Ghana’s creative and media landscape. Nelson’s recognition highlights his creativity, consistency, and deep connection with audiences across the country.

Born and raised in Accra but proudly tracing his roots to Enyan Dankyire in the Central Region, Nelson’s story is one of passion meeting purpose. A graduate in Computer Engineering (2008), he discovered his true calling in radio after several guest appearances on talk shows stirred his love for broadcasting.

To refine his talent, he later pursued Broadcast Journalism at the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC), where he honed the art of impactful storytelling and production.

Nelson joined the Multimedia Group Limited in 2018, where he has become a familiar and trusted voice to many. At Asempa FM (94.7), he produces and co-hosts flagship programmes including Yefri Asore Aba, Anopa Sore, and Akwankyire. His creativity also extends to Adom FM (106.3), where he works on beloved shows such as Awurade Kasa, Ebere No So A Na Aso, and Adom Ahengua.

Speaking after receiving the award, Nelson expressed gratitude to his listeners, colleagues, and mentors, saying,

“This honour reminds me that passion and hard work never go unnoticed. Radio is not just my job, it’s my ministry of connection, education, and joy.”
