Senior Project Manager at Lightwave E-Healthcare Solutions, Eric Agyei, has voiced strong disappointment over what he calls the unfair treatment of the company by the Ministry of Health, despite nearly a decade of collaboration on Ghana’s national e-health project.

Speaking on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, Mr. Agyei said the company feels “deeply hurt” after years of dedicated service to Ghana’s healthcare digitization agenda.

“We have worked with the Ministry for years, so we never thought we would face such issues,” he stated, adding that the company’s entire staff is Ghana-based and has continued to support the government’s e-health efforts.

He expressed frustration that instead of appreciation, the company has faced hostility from the Ministry.

“It’s painful, and we have expressed this to the minister. If nothing else, we deserve to be thanked for our work over the past years. The way we have been treated has not been kind,” he lamented.

Mr. Agyei further appealed to the Health Minister to ease tensions and allow Lightwave E-Healthcare to continue its work through proper contractual procedures.

“We hope the minister will relax the situation so we can go through the necessary processes and adhere to the contract,” he said.
