The National Service Authority (NSA) has released new guidelines to assist prospective service personnel encountering difficulties with their online registration for the 2025/2026 national service year.

This follows the reopening of the National Service Portal on October 8, 2025, after the cancellation of all previous registrations conducted in June.

According to the NSA, several registrants have faced challenges completing their applications due to data mismatches, particularly involving incorrect dates of birth and names.

The Authority, led by Acting Director-General Ruth Dela Seddoh, has outlined steps to resolve these issues.

  1. Where the details submitted by a tertiary institution do not match the applicant’s Ghana Card, the individual must swear an affidavit, gazette the correction, and submit it to the institution for onward transmission to the NSA.
  2. If the tertiary institution made an error in capturing the applicant’s details, the individual should report it to the school, which will then correct and communicate the change to the NSA via classlist@nss.gov.gh, copying tweneboah.kodua@nss.gov.gh.

The NSA reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that all eligible graduates are able to complete registration and be deployed to serve in areas of national priority.

For additional support, the Authority urged applicants to contact district or regional offices or reach out to its Head Office support services for assistance.
