Nigerian Senator Prince Ned Nwoko has publicly accused his wife, Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, of violent conduct and substance abuse, alleging that she went on what he described as an “unprovoked carnage and rampage” at their home in his absence.

In a detailed social media post, the politician claimed the actress has been battling drug and alcohol addiction, which he identified as the root cause of ongoing domestic issues. According to him, Daniels allegedly assaulted three staff members, destroyed property including vehicles and windows, and issued threats against his household staff and a resident nurse.

Nwoko further stated that he had directed his wife to undergo rehabilitation either in Asokoro or abroad to limit her access to drugs, but that attempts to escort her to the hospital were unsuccessful. He also alleged that Daniels threatened both medical personnel and others present during the incident.

The post, which included images reportedly showing damage to glass windows, has sparked widespread public reaction, drawing both concern and scepticism online. While supporters have expressed sympathy and urged for medical intervention, critics have questioned the timing and motive of Nwoko’s disclosure, suggesting that the matter should be handled privately.

As of now, there has been no official response from Regina Daniels or her representatives, and it remains unclear whether law enforcement or medical authorities have intervened in the situation. The allegations, if substantiated, could carry legal and reputational consequences for both parties, given their high-profile status in Nigerian public life.

The unfolding controversy adds to growing discussions on substance abuse, mental health, and domestic conflicts among celebrity couples in Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
