Ahead of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential primaries on January 31, 2026, the party’s diaspora wing in Germany is calling for unity among aspirants and their supporters.
The Global Patriots Germany congratulated the five candidates who recently cleared vetting and balloting, describing the process as a testament to the party’s commitment to fairness, transparency, and internal democracy.
In a statement, the group reminded aspirants that the upcoming campaigns should focus on ideas and policy proposals rather than personal attacks. They warned that negative exchanges could damage the party’s reputation ahead of the national elections.
“This is a time to strengthen the party, not divide it. Candidates should showcase their vision and leadership while respecting one another,” the statement said.
The group also appealed to supporters to maintain decorum in public discussions, noting that careless words can have lasting consequences.
Global Patriots Germany praised the aspirants for their dedication to the party, emphasizing that the NPP’s strength lies not only in winning primaries but in staying united afterward.
The diaspora wing concluded by urging all members to put party unity first, highlighting that the world is watching how the NPP manages its internal affairs.
