Former NDC Parliamentary Candidate for Offinso South, Vincent Asare Bediako, has called on Francis Asenso-Boakye and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to provide documentary evidence of funds they claim to have secured for the SuameInterchange Project.
According to Mr. Bediako, transparency is essential in addressing public concerns about the financing and progress of the project.
“Asenso Boakye and the NPP should provide evidence of the funds they created for the Suame project,” he stated.
He further argued that when the NPP assumed office, several projects initiated under the NDC administration were not continued. However, he maintained that the NDC would not adopt the same approach.
“There are lots of projects we were doing that when the NPP came to power, they did not continue, but it is not the same way with us,” he said.
Mr. Bediako also accused Asenso-Boakye of engaging in propaganda and cautioned against what he described as attempts to undermine the government’s image.
“Asenso Boakye will not be allowed to use propaganda to destroy the reputation of the government,” he asserted.
He expressed confidence that the Suame Interchange Project would be completed under the NDC administration led by President John Dramani Mahama.
“The Suame Project will be completed by President John Dramani Mahama,” he added.
