A member of the Ashanti Regional Communication Team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Moro Yakubu, has declared that New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential aspirant Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has already lost the party’s upcoming presidential primaries.
NPP presidential aspirant, Kennedy Agyapong is a former Member of Parliament for Assin Central and business man, is one of the leading contenders in the NPP race and has attracted significant public attention with his populist messaging and strong grassroots appeal.
Speaking in an interview on Oyerepa FM, Moro Yakubu expressed confidence that the outcome of the NPP internal contest is already determined.
“Ken Agyapong has already lost the election,” he stated. “What will happen has already happened.”
According to the NDC communicator, any last-minute efforts by the camp of the outspoken NPP flagbearer hopeful may not change the eventual outcome.
“If they have something to do, they should be fast about it, because what will happen has already happened,” Moro Yakubu added.
While he did not provide specific details to support his assertion, his comments come amid intense campaigning and internal competition within the NPP as aspirants position themselves ahead of the party’s presidential primaries.
