Aspiring General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Eugene Boakye Antwi, has dismissed concerns about the stability of the party, insisting that no internal breakaway or political setback can lead to its collapse.
Speaking on Oyerepa Radio, Antwi likened the NPP’s resilience to that of Asante Kotoko SC, stressing that the party’s foundation is too strong to be shaken.
“NPP just like Ashante Kotoko will never collapse. No amount of breakaway will collapse the party. Nothing could break us even when we were in opposition for long years,” he stated.
He emphasized that the party’s history in opposition demonstrates its durability and internal resolve.
“NPP will never collapse. A party that could even stay in opposition for a long years, even with this we did not break; nothing can break us. We have resolve,” he said.
Antwi further compared the party’s strength to that of the Ashanti Kingdom, underscoring what he described as its unshakeable structure and unity.
“NPP is like the Ashanti Kingdom; no one can collapse it,” he added.
