Ghanaian film personality Nana Kofi Agyemang, popularly known as Oboy Siki, has stirred widespread reactions online after choosing an unconventional way to celebrate his latest birthday.
In a video that has rapidly circulated across social media platforms, the outspoken Kumawood actor is seen inside a coffin positioned in a hearse. According to him, the act was intentional and symbolic, forming part of a spiritual exercise to mark the occasion.
Addressing viewers in the footage, the actor explained that the gesture was meant to serve as a form of personal spiritual cleansing while also invoking blessings for those close to him. He indicated that his intention was not merely dramatic display, but a ritual he believes would usher prosperity into the lives of his family and associates.
Beyond the symbolic act, the actor issued a cautionary message to individuals who may trivialize his actions or personality. In his remarks, he suggested that those who underestimate him should be careful, implying that negative consequences could follow disrespect.
He further disclosed that he initially intended to remain inside the coffin for three days as part of the exercise. However, he stated that he later reconsidered the plan after what he described as spiritual guidance advising him against extending the act.
This is not the first time the actor has drawn attention with statements related to mortality. In 2023, he publicly claimed that he foresaw his death occurring in 2024, a prediction that ultimately did not come to pass.
The birthday episode has since generated mixed reactions, with some social media users interpreting it as performance art, while others view it as a serious spiritual demonstration.
