The Ghana Police Service has declared Mark Agingre, a native of Binduri, wanted in connection with a string of brutal murders that have shaken communities in the Upper East Region.

Police say Agingre is the prime suspect behind the killing of a man, his wife, and three children on November 7, 2025, in the Binduri District. The horrific attack also left another child battling for his life at the Bolgatanga Government Hospital.

Investigations have since linked Agingre to a previous murder on October 27, 2025, in which an elderly man and his two children were killed under similar circumstances. Law enforcement sources indicate that the suspect may be connected to several other targeted killings in the area.

In a bid to accelerate his arrest, the Police have placed a GH₵1 million bounty on Agingre’s head, promising the reward to anyone who provides credible information leading to his capture.

The public has been urged to report any leads to the nearest police station or call the emergency numbers 191 or 18555.

The Police, in a statement, assured residents that intense security operations are underway to locate the suspect and bring him to justice, while appealing to the public to remain calm and cooperate fully with the ongoing investigations.
