The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has forecast unsettled weather conditions across the country from tonight, Wednesday, September 24, through to Friday, September 26.

Tonight (Sept. 24):
GMet says most areas will remain generally cloudy. The coastline and adjoining inland areas are expected to record slight to moderate rainfall, with occasional thunderstorms. The middle, transition, and northern belts will experience variable cloudiness, accompanied by scattered thunderstorms and rain.

Thursday (Sept. 25):
Mist and fog patches are expected across the coastal, middle, and transition belts in the early hours. Cloudy conditions will persist for much of the day, with slight to moderate rains along the coast and neighbouring areas. Thunderstorms and scattered rainfall are also forecast for the middle, transition, and northern zones later in the day.

Friday (Sept. 26):
Most parts of the country will begin with mist and fog patches in the morning. Sunshine will break through during the day, but isolated thunderstorms and rains are expected, particularly over the middle and northern belts. Coastal areas will also record pockets of isolated rains and thunderstorms.

GMet has advised the public to take necessary precautions, especially travellers, farmers, and communities in flood-prone areas, as the anticipated rains could impact daily activities.
