Member of Parliament for Akuapem North, Sammi Awuku, has indicated that current developments suggest a gradual increase in positive favorability ratings for the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

“We are not expectant that they will blame any upcoming development crisis with the US, Israel–Iran war because during our time they told us not to blame the Russia-Ukraine war for the crisis the government was facing,” Awuku said.

He added that the greater distance of the current geopolitical conflict makes it less plausible as a justification for any future domestic challenges, emphasizing that such rationalizations should be removed entirely.

“They should totally remove that as a possible rationalisation of any future occurrence. If that happens, there would be positive favourability rating for the NPP, which will be a gradual process,” he explained.

Awuku concluded by stressing the importance of humility and constructive dialogue in achieving political success.

“Through humility and good talks, we will attain victory,” he said.
