Renowned Ghanaian broadcaster Serwaa Amihere has officially been called to the Bar of Ghana after completing five years of rigorous legal training.
In a heartfelt post shared on social media, Serwaa reflected on her demanding academic journey, revealing that it took 40 subjects, 40 exams, over 2,500 lecture hours, and more than 8,000 hours of private studies and group discussions to reach this milestone.
She described her experience as one marked by determination and sacrifice, admitting that she had deliberately kept this part of her life private until her successful completion of the program.
“Sleepy days and sleepless nights. This is the aspect of my life which I’ve carefully kept away from the public in the last five years,” she wrote. “Thanks to God, my beloved family and you, wonderful individuals, who supported me through it all. To a new chapter.”
Her achievement has since drawn widespread congratulations from colleagues, fans, and public figures across Ghana, with many hailing her perseverance, focus, and ability to balance her demanding media career with legal education.
Serwaa Amihere, known for her work with GHOne TV, now joins hundreds of newly enrolled Barristers and Solicitors of the Supreme Court of Ghana, marking a major personal and professional accomplishment.
