Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has once again stirred social media conversations after confirming the success of her latest cosmetic surgery, a Lipo 360 procedure, which she described as a moment of victory and gratitude.

The actress, known for her bold personality and openness about her beauty journey, shared the update on Instagram with the caption, “It ended in praise! Second phase done and dusted! Been through it and back like I never left! Shout power!”

Before the procedure, Uche appeared in a cheerful pre-surgery video wearing hospital attire, telling her fans, “It’s happening today, my Lipo 360 surgery. Please say a little prayer for me. I’m not scared! I trust my doctors. It will end in praise! Amen.”

Her candour has since drawn diverse reactions across social media platforms. While many fans applauded her confidence and transparency, others raised concerns about the growing obsession with cosmetic enhancements among Nigerian celebrities, arguing that it may set unrealistic standards for young women.

This follows earlier remarks from her husband, Bobby Maris, who publicly supported women choosing to undergo cosmetic procedures like Brazilian Butt Lifts (BBL), liposuction, or tummy tucks “without shame” if they can afford them.

Uche, who had previously undergone a BBL, has maintained that her decisions are deeply personal and part of her journey toward self-love and empowerment.

Her post-surgery revelation has once again reignited conversations about body image, confidence, and the pressure of beauty ideals in Nollywood and beyond.

As debates continue online, Uche remains steadfast in her faith and pride, declaring that for her, the process “truly ended in praise.”
