Afenyo-Markin, who has always paraded himself as a Saint, appears to have forgotten of his legal right to sue MASLOC and its CEO, Abigail Mensah, together with Radio Gold and all other persons who spread the false information that the cash loaded Afenyo-Markin, would stoop low to steal a paltry Ghc 500,000 from the State. What can half a million Ghana Cedis do for the super rich Afenyo-Markin, who claims to have started transport businesses from his mother’s womb?
Afenyo-Markin ought to sue me alongside MASLOC, its CEO and some other persons, since I also played a part in broadcasting that outright falsehood against the clean Afenyo-Markin that he took a loan of Ghc 500,000 from MASLOC and absconded. This sum of money is chicken feed; to borrow the words of a thief parading as a politician.
If Afenyo-Markin fails to sue MASLOC, then he has no basis suing anyone in the future for defamation or continue to maintain defamation suits against persons who have aptly described him as a thief, dishonest, a loan defaulter, morally bankrupt, a failed politician, a crook, a criminal, etc., in the recent past.
Since it is obvious that Afenyo-Markin has forgotten his law, then he is reminded that he is at liberty to seek the following reliefs from the court, and MUST seek them without any further delay:
a) A declaration that the contents of the statements made by the MASLOC CEO and aired on Radio Gold and published on some traditional and other Social Media platforms on 20th October, 2025, are defamatory of the Plaintiff (Afenyo-Markin) and only aimed at tarnishing his reputation.
b) An order directing the Defendants to render unqualified apologies to the Plaintiff (Afenyo-Markin) through the same medium the defamatory statements were made.
c) An order of perpetual injunction to restrain the Defendants from further uttering or publishing any defamatory material against the Plaintiff.
d) General damages of five hundred thousand Ghana Cedis
(Ghc 500,000). This is to be used by the Plaintiff in settling the MASLOC loan to redeem his dented reputation.
Afenyo-Markin, this is free legal advice coming from your brother from another mother.
